Ice-Maiden DevilDome Quest Guide

This comprehensive guide provides a walkthrough for the Ice Maiden quest line, a prerequisite for accessing the Devildom.

Beginning the Quest

The quest line initiates with Guard Kaydog on Veiled Island, who instructs you to defeat Barikan in the Frozen Thorn Forest. Note that Barikan, along with two other bosses in this quest line, has a respawn time of 30 minutes.

Sequential Quests

After defeating Barikan, you are directed to Commander Alphonse by Kaia Lake, who then sends you to Nakibu. Despite his daunting appearance, Nakibu is friendly and will request your help in gathering fish from Kaia Lake.

Nakibu, being fashion-conscious, will then ask for feathers from Snowy Dove Chicks and claws from Fierce Tundra Wolves for adornments.

To gain Nakibu's full trust, defeat some Giant Yeti around Kaia Lake and retrieve Nakibu's belongings from a camp near the Nanani Breeding grounds.

Further Instructions

Chief Explorer Kane, located northeast of Kaia Lake, will then introduce you to Explorer Chesha for assistance in gathering rock samples.

Upon analyzing the minerals, Kane and Nakibu will reveal the importance of these minerals and task you with gathering more.

The Truth Unveiled

Nakibu shares the story of Kaia and the necessity of retrieving the remaining pieces of Kaia's heart from Shier and Terjahn, both of whom also have a 30-minute respawn time.

Final Stages

After collecting Kaia's heart pieces, defeat Draka to ensure Kaia's safety. Following this, gather four magical gems from the bosses of various temples to release Kaia from her imprisonment.

Destroy the four pillars of ice around Kaia Lake, defeat the dragons that emerge, and finally, release Kaia from her imprisonment. You must also confront and defeat the corrupted Kaia to bring her back to her senses.

Quest Completion

Upon defeating Kaia and returning to Nakibu, you will be rewarded with a young Ice Maiden companion, marking the completion of the Ice Maiden quest line. You are now ready to embark on the Devildom quests.
